Lupus nephritis
The one most common damage lupus cause is to the kidney due to kidney infection. This infection is called lupus nephritis. There aren’t many defined signs in this condition called lupus nephritis. This problem may not show some definite kind of symptoms but is usually associated with lack of fluid retention and weight gain in body. For some people there is also protein swelling in the patient’s body thus causing body ache. The symptoms in lupus nephritis vary in different persons. There a few people that might show the extreme conditions in lupus nephritis which includes the urine problem or other extreme conditions, and there are few which shows the milder versioned lupus nephritis.

If these are present in the urine then there is a sharp possibility of lupus infection in the person’s body. Thre is another study it also a kind of urine study which is done, the urine sample is collected of the past 24 hours and then the filtration level of the kidney is analyzed according to the changes in the urine samples. This also tells the amount of urea loss in the person’s body and even the protein loss n the body.
The main job of kidneys need to be analyzed carefully if the waste product or the dirt in the blood is not properly being cleaned by the kidney then it can really pose lot of problems. This condition can be easily checked by the proper blood tests that can be easily done. The level of serum in the blood can also be checked with the help of blood tests.
X-rays can also be used to judge the severity of lupus nephritis in the body. These tests are done before the biopsy in the body. As the kidney biopsy is a hard procedure so it requires patient to be hospitalized. To determine what the real condition is of the kidney, in biopsy a needle is inserted with its help a piece of kidney is taken out and checked what the major affect is of the lupus.
The severity during the infection is one thing that has to keep in mind while checking the condition of kidney and infection. There are diuretic agents that might help in eliminate the excess of fluids and the protein material in the body.
Summarizing these facts it can be said that the treatment of lupus depends upon the severity of infection which needs to diagnosed to properly protect any kind of dramatic loss in the body.
